Digital Diversity: Fostering Inclusion & Gender Equality through Technology

In continuation of the celebration of International Women’s Day, NASSCOM Foundation in partnership with Vodafone Idea Foundation organised a summit titled “Digital Diversity: Fostering Inclusion & Gender Equality through Technology” on 20th March 2023 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Smt. Baby Rani Maurya, Hon’ble Minister of Women and Child Development, UP, GoI was the chief guest for the Summit.  

The summit focused on how technology integration can help in raising a voice against gender-based violence, gender pay gap, lack of representation of women in formal & informal sectors, and lack of access to education and address the challenges at a micro level. Dr. Rajesh Tandon was one of the invited speakers in the panel discussion on Digital Diversity: Fostering Inclusion & Gender Equality through Technology 

Under their partnership program “Connecting for Good”,  they also announced their new technology-based platform for helping women in the informal sector to address sexual harassment at the workplace & other forms of violence.
